DUFFY 48'

Designed in 1990 by Spencer Lincoln, The Duffy 48 is our largest hull. To date we have built 15 boats to this design including split wheel house lobster boats, draggers, and cruisers. We have built stretched versions at 52 feet and 56 feet. With a beam of 17′- 6″ this is a big 48 footer. Her hull design, as with the rest of the Duffy line, is a built down semi-displacement lobster style and as such she has the great sea keeping that the Duffy line is famous for. She can be set up with single or twin power with cruising speeds up to 25 Knots

DUFFY 42'

The Duffy 42 was designed in 1985 and has proven to be an exceptionally able offshore lobster boat. Over 100 42’s to date testify to it’s continued popularity amongst commercial fishermen, sportfisherman and charter boat captains on both coasts. While the majority of Duffy 42’s are finished as commercial lobster boats we have built 42’s as ambulance boats, pilot boats, tow boats, clam dredge boats, commercial tuna boats, fire boats, Coast Guard Certified passenger boats and marine patrol boats.

DUFFY 37'

The Duffy 37 is the newest boat in our fleet. The first hull came out in October 1999. Like all of our boats, the 37 is a built down, full keel lobster boat designed by Spencer Lincoln. The 37 is a slightly larger version of the Duffy 35 with some changes to the under body to increase speed and fuel efficiency. Because it is still a built down hull, the 37 performs much like the proven 35, but allows for faster speeds, more open layouts, greater carrying capacity and better head room.We offer the 37 in both work boat (main bulk head at 22′) and cruiser (main bulkhead at 20′) configurations. This allows for more deck space on work boats or more room down forward on cruisers. Sport fishermen can go either way depending on their priorities. We custom build the 37 from the ground up allowing for a large variety of layouts and configurations. Some “standard” layouts are shown on the left side of this page; please contact us to discuss other options.

DUFFY 35'

Not only is The Duffy 35 the most popular boat in our line it is one of the most popular lobster boats of all time with over 370 hulls built since 1982. The Duffy 35 is a built down hull with a fine forefoot and flat after sections producing good speed and the excellent ride that Duffy’s are famous for. Over the years the Duffy 35 has proven itself to be a safe and stable boat in all but the most severe sea conditions.

DUFFY 31'

The Duffy 31 was designed by Spencer Lincoln in 1983. Her hull lines closely follow those of her larger sister the Duffy 35. The Duffy 31 is a built down, semi-displacement hull with a fine forefoot and flat after section. She has the tumblehome and sweet sheer shared by all the Duffy’s. Her original design as a commercial lobster boat made sea-keeping the top priority in her design. Over the years we have built over fifty Duffy 31’s and they can be found lobstering all over the east coast.

DUFFY 29'

The Duffy 29H is derived from the standard 26, an inboard model that’s proven itself with over 50 built since 1986.For the 29H, Atlantic Boat extended the waterline 2’9″, replaced the inboard with twin outboards, modified the keel, and installed lifting rails. The result is a planing hybrid with top-quality performance and seakindly character—combined with the beauty one expects in the downeast style. But it gets better. Moving the engine and removing the engine box provides a whole lot more storage below and more room for creature comforts in the sheltered cockpit space. And with twin 150hp outboards, customers get the speed they wantat 30 knots or more. Construction is performed to Atlantic Boat’s usual robust but finely fitted standards, including solid fiber-glass reinforced plastic with a vinylester skin layer and full-length longitudinal foam-cored stringers; solid fiberglass skeg and full keel; PVC spray rails; and single-mold interior deck and seating. Now available with single or twin outboards, the Duffy 29H offers a soft ride, along with the convenience and efficiency of an outboard model, that makes it a great runabout or overnighter.

DUFFY 26' Launch

The Duffy 26 hull is molded in solid Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic with a vinylester skin layer and full length longitudinal foam cored stringers; the hull is white gelcoat. The solid fiberglass skeg and full keel protect the propeller. PVC spray rails are through-bolted and glassed on the interior.

DUFFY 26'

The Duffy 26 was designed in 1986. Since that time we have built over fifty 26’s as commercial lobster boats, tow boats, charter boats and pleasure boats. The Duffy 26 is a built down, semi displacement style hull designed for excellent sea keeping. This is a true lobsterboat hull not a “stylized” V hull made to look like a lobsterboat. Maximum beam is 9′-6″ and beam at the transom is 7′-3″. For her size she is as stable a working platform as you could hope to find and she has the classic lines the larger Duffy’s are famous for.
